John Gaulden Jr. provided Civil Service as a Petit Juror during the Revolutionary War
Susan Gaulden was the daughter of John Gaulden and Susannah Brumfield and her obituary states she was a native of Sumter District, South Carolina and the daughter of "Captain John and Susan Gaulding, natives of Prince Edward, Virginia. Captain Goulding served in the Revolutionary War under General Marion and died of smallpox. The elder brother of the deceased served under General Green."
